Sales training support for product launch 

Supporting a product launch, Minerva developed and produced three sales training courses targeting sales representatives selling gloving solutions to health care professionals. Together with the customer’s subject matter experts Minerva processed the demanding content in the form of clinical evidence for the product advantages. The purpose of the course productions was to provide the customer’s sales representatives with a knowledge base and sales arguments as well as practical, ‘hands-on’ training in using the sales arguments. Minerva developned concept and content for two e-learning modules and an interactive PDF. One e-learning module presented the theoretical content evidence and product information; the other module together with the interactive PDF presented interactive dialogues with health care professionals as practical training in using the clinical evidence as sales arguments.


Minerva met the challenges of demanding content and a tight deadline with an efficient production process and through comprehensive and intense cooperation with the customer’s subject matter experts – two essential factors in delivering conceptually accurate, successful and well targeted learning content.


E-learning courses, as well as other forms of online learning, can be an efficient sales training channel in connection with product launches. When you want to educate your sales representatives with unitised information about upcoming products, an e-learning course is an efficient way of reaching a large target group in different geographical locations. Making the learning content available independent of time and place enables the sales representative to access and utilise the sales training based on individual needs.
